The difference between normal velcro hook, mushroom head hook to  easy hook or rubber hook  is that normal velcro hook or mushroom head hook pose the risk to scratch surface of the fabric in brush for the clothes; Easy hook or rubber hook will be in the overside. So normally , cuff flat with easy hook or rubber hook  hasbeen suggested  to our clients.
